From HS-Soft to scango.ch
You take payment in your bakery or café with CashAssist from HS-Soft and want to see sales, stock and suppliers from anywhere? Have your items exported, and we import them for you at the start.
How your data gets from HS-Soft to scango.ch
1 Request the item list
Ask HS-Soft support for an export of your items with product groups and, where available, suppliers and stock levels as a CSV or Excel file. If there is no export, an Excel list of your range or your supplier’s price list works too.
2 Send or upload the file
At the start we import your product data once for you and check it for plausibility. Or you upload the file yourself in the dashboard under Products → Import.
3 Review and confirm
Columns such as barcode, price or category are mapped automatically. You see every row before anything is saved.
4 Plug in the checkout
Your checkout arrives preconfigured. Range, prices and stock are already in it.

HS-Soft publishes no guide for an export. Whether and in which format data can be exported, HS-Soft support knows.

What about vouchers, customer cards and discount codes?
Ask HS-Soft for a list of your open vouchers and your discount campaigns before you switch.
Vouchers
Send us the list of your open vouchers with code and remaining balance, and we enter them for you at the start. The codes stay the same, so your customers’ vouchers stay valid.
Discount codes
You choose the code freely, so your existing codes stay the same. Percent or fixed amount, limited to products, categories, suppliers or stores.
Customer cards
scango.ch does not run points or stamp cards. A fixed discount for regulars or staff works with a discount code. It’s best to pay out open points as a voucher before you switch.

What you want to know about switching
Where do I see my sales?
In the cloud dashboard, in the browser or on your phone: every sale appears at once, for all checkouts and stores.
How do I sell baked goods without a barcode?
With manual selection: you or your customers tap croissants, bread or coffee on the screen, sorted by categories with their own picture.
When do I transfer stock and vouchers?
The import takes over the stock when it first reads your items. Whatever you still sell at the old till afterwards, you correct on the day of the switch with a stock count, in the dashboard or with the stock scanner. Have HS-Soft output the open vouchers on the last evening and send us the list, we enter them for you.
How much does switching cost?
Importing your product data once at the start is included. You pay for the checkout and the subscription as shown in the cost estimate.
What happens to my past sales?
Your sales history stays in your current system. Download the reports for your accounting before you cancel the old subscription.
Can I run both systems side by side for a while?
Yes. You can set up and test scango.ch while your old till is still running, and switch over afterwards.
