Price Tags
Price Tags
The Price Tags module allows you to create and print shelf and product labels directly from the dashboard. You can select products, define layouts, and control which information is displayed on the label. Please note:
The printers themselves are not part of the scango.ch service. If required, we can provide recommendations for compatible devices. Please contact support@scango.ch for further information.
Select Product
Using the search function, you can find products by:
- Product name
- Supplier
- Barcode (also by directly scanning the code)
Selected products can be added to the print list. Products already added can be removed at any time.
Layout
In the Layout section, you select the desired print format. Various formats are available, for example: 50 × 33 mm (shelf label, e.g. Brother roll DK22223)
The terms Evolis and Brother refer to compatible standard printer models:
- Evolis: Sign printer
- Brother: Label printer
The selected layout determines the size and arrangement of the content on the label.
Display
In the Display section, you define which information should appear on the price tag:
- Display supplier: The assigned supplier is shown on the label when the toggle is activated.
- Display price: The product’s sales price is shown on the label when the toggle is activated.
Suppliers
If supplier information is included on the price tag, the following details are considered:
- Name: Supplier name
- Location: Supplier location
Both fields can be adjusted manually. This information is only displayed if the “Display supplier” option is activated.
Product-Specific Information
For each selected product, additional information can be defined:
- Product name: The product name displayed on the label (editable)
- Price: Sales price of the product
- Country of origin (optional): Origin of the product
- Price per unit (e.g. 100 g): Base price information for weight-based products
The selected products can be printed using your browser’s print function. The dashboard generates PDF versions of the labels. The actual printing process depends on your individual on-site printing solution and is not part of the scango.ch service.
