Discount codes

The discount codes in the scango.ch dashboard allow you to define discount levels that you can use in the form of QR codes at the checkout scanner. Discount codes can be used indefinitely.

Discount codes overview

The discount codes entered are listed here. The following values are displayed:

• Description: Individual description of the code entered by you
• Code: Numerical code of the discount (displayed in QR code form).
• Discount: Valid value of the discount code in %

You can delete discount codes that are no longer required by clicking on the red garbage can on the right.

Create discount code

Click on the "Create discount code" button to enter a new code.

Enter the following fields accordingly:

• Description: Enter a short description of the discount. This text is displayed on the customer screen.
• Discount code: This is predefined by the system. Do not change it without consulting scango.ch
• Discount: Enter the amount of the discount in % or CHF. In both cases in absolute figures (e.g. 10 for 10%, 20 for CHF 20).

Confirm the basic entry by clicking on "Create discount code".

The other optional fields for limiting the discount are then displayed:

• Maximum use: Discount becomes invalid after the number of completed purchases with this code.
• Valid from / until: Discount is only valid during this period.
• Valid for stores: Discount is only valid in the selected stores.
• Valid for categories: Discount is only valid for products in the selected categories.
• Valid for suppliers: Discount is only valid for products from the selected suppliers.

No entry = discount applies in each case without restriction.

Edit discount code

Click on the line of an existing discount code to edit it.

Then edit the fields as required in the same way as for "Create discount code".

Your changes will be saved automatically. This is indicated by a short browser message.
