Statistics

In this section you will learn how to use the statistics of your scango.ch dashboard to analyze sales data for a specific period.

Select date and store

Select the desired time period for the analysis by entering a "From date" and a "To date". If required, select the relevant store, category or supplier. If no selection is made, the data is calculated over all.

Click on Apply: The statistics are calculated for this period.

Display and detail statistics

Once you have selected the time period, the following statistics are displayed:

Number of shopping baskets: The number of purchases in the selected period.
Total sales: The total sales in CHF incl. VAT for the selected period.
Total net sales: The total sales in CHF excluding VAT for the selected period.
Products sold: The number of products sold in the selected period.
Total VAT: The total amount of VAT in CHF for the selected period.
Total margin: The total margin in CHF for the selected period (this is calculated on the basis of the purchase prices or margins entered in % on the individual products).
Gift cards redeemed: The total amount in CHF purchased via gift cards for the selected period.
Gift cards topped up: The total amount in CHF for which gift cards were loaded in the selected time period.

The following two charts show the turnover and purchases (number of shopping baskets) for the selected period, broken down by time of day and day of the week:

At the end of the statistics you will find the data for the selected period listed in table form. You can change the grouping between 6 views by clicking on the bars above the list:

Products: The data is displayed grouped by product
Categories: The data is displayed grouped by category
Stores: The data is displayed grouped by branches
Suppliers: The data is displayed grouped by supplier
Payment method: The data is displayed grouped by payment method (as Payment Terminal, gift card, cash, …)
Payment type: The data is displayed grouped by payment type (as exp. MasterCard, VISA, TWINT, …)

You can sort the data in ascending/descending order by clicking on the corresponding header title (e.g. Quantity, Total, ...).

You can search for terms and numbers by clicking on the respective slider icon to the right of the header title (e.g. for supplier by "butcher's shop", ...).

You can show and hide individual columns using the Columns field on the right.

Exporting data

By clicking on "Export as CSV" you can export the data and process or analyze it individually in your company.
